Contract-grade furniture — what it means

Contract-grade furniture is built to a higher specification than domestic furniture. The key differences matter in a commercial environment:

• Frame construction — heavier-gauge steel or solid wood joints, designed to withstand repeated use and moving without loosening
• Weight ratings — typically 120–150kg per chair, versus 100–110kg for domestic equivalents
• Upholstery — contract fabrics rated to 50,000–100,000 rub cycles (Martindale test), compared to 10,000–25,000 for domestic fabrics
• Finishes — powder-coat and lacquer finishes formulated for resistance to cleaning chemicals, not just domestic use

All furniture in our range is specified for commercial use. We do not sell domestic furniture.

Venue fit-outs and project orders

We regularly supply complete venue fit-outs for new restaurant openings and refurbishments — from 20-cover independents to 200-cover hotel dining rooms. What is the minimum order?

There is no minimum order — we supply single items and bulk quantities. For orders over 10 pieces, contact us for a project quote as we can often offer better pricing and delivery terms at volume.

Do you offer samples or showroom visits?

Contact us to discuss sample availability and whether a visit to view products in person can be arranged. We can also provide fabric swatches and finish samples for upholstered products.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery timescales vary by product. In-stock items typically ship within 5–10 working days. Made-to-order and Signature Collection items have longer lead times — check individual product pages or contact us for current lead times before ordering.
